One of Theresa’s favorite things to do was to review recipes, clipping her favorites out of the paper & trying them out for her family and friends. She and Matthew exchanged recipes weekly, and she enjoyed sharing her love of cooking with him over many years. For Susan’s wedding shower she wrote over 100 of her favorites –one of the best gifts anyone could have received. Theresa’s recall of recipes was staggering, and she would laugh when we asked her to send a recipe of her version of our favorite chicken cutlets, you just do it she would say. Besides loving recipes, she was also a creative cook who could produce delicious meals without a recipe. She also was a talented baker, providing many community scholarship meetings with her delicious banana bread and famous brownies.
No matter when you stopped by my mother’s house she always provided a loving table at which everyone was welcome
